Which One Do You Want to Read from About 500 Ones Lined Up on the 5-meter-tall White Wall? -”Books & Cafe” at ‘Hama House’ Offering Seasonal Deli Plate
Do you know a new complex facility ‘Hama House’ was born near Suitengu Shrine, which is popular among hopeful couples and expecting mothers praying for safe childbirth? Hama House opened with the concept is ‘the living room of a town’ in this place where the good old cityscape remains while being the center of Tokyo. There are an event space and open kitchen on the upper floor of the 4-story facility, including an office where creators who are active in the world get together. This time, we’re going to introduce “Books&Cafe” which is located on the 1st and 2nd floors. It will provide you with new fascinating books and healthy dishes.
‘Hama House’ is a glass-walled building with part of the front. The entrance to “Books&Cafe” is filled with many plants and a botanical atmosphere spreads out. The 2nd floor is an atrium and there are many books on the 5-meter-tall back wall. Surprisingly, it seems that there are about 500 books. It is an eye-catching and photogenic appearance even seen from the outside. The floor has a variety of books such as travel, cooking, philosophy, history and foreign picture books. You can not only read these books freely but also buy your favorite ones.
Its cafe menu is attractive as well. Especially, ‘Healthy Veggie Plate” is so popular because it allows customers to choose 3 delis from 8 types. In addition, it contains lots of seasonal vegetables and enough protein. By the way, you should try the original coffee developed by ‘IFNI ROASTING&CO.’ Opened in Shizuoka City Shizuoka Prefecture, the shop sells freshly roasted coffee beans and creates items and food related to coffee.
