Kyoto Tower has been a symbol in Kyoto for 59 years. In 2019, it celebrated its 55th year and attracted over 32 million visitors. In April 2024, it was given its new name: Nidec Kyoto Tower. On December 28, 2024, it will celebrate its 60th anniversary.
This tower is the tallest in Tokyo with 3 basement floors and 9 above-ground floors. Inside, there are restaurants, tourist information centers, and a hotel. The observation area is split into the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floor. The 3rd floor has a chic, relaxing lounge. From the 4th and 5th floors, you can see all of Kyoto.
