Hit the town in the perfect kimono from Yae Kimono Rental Asakusa!

There are several kimono rental shops in Asakusa, a popular tourist destination in Tokyo. Yae Kimono Rental Asakusa is a 3-minute walk from Kaminarimon and right in front of Exit 5 of Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. It’s a popular spot for visitors from inside and out of the country! Every day, it is packed with guests that want to walk the streets of Asakusa in a kimono.

At Yae Kimono Rental, you can get dressed by and your hair done by a hair and makeup artist that works in the bridal scene. There are a total of 11 different plans ranging from the regular plan to one offering more expensive kimonos. Every plan comes with hair styling, and there are no extra fees for accessories, so you don’t have to worry about additional costs. There are photo session services and rickshaw services available as well. (Photo sessions require prior reservation)
