“Tricolore” looking like it came straight out of an old movie

Opened in 1936, a cafe “Tricolore” is full of a retro atmosphere. To our surprises, the entrance is a wooden revolving door. Stepping into the cafe, you can find interiors such as chandeliers and red velvet and feel like as if you’re in a Western‐style building where aristocrats live. The recommended menu is a set of eclair and antique blend coffee. After receiving your order, they grind coffee beans and nel drip (extracting method with cloth filter) them, so you can taste the rich flavor of coffee.

“CAFE PAULISTA” which gave rise to a coffee boom in Japan

CAFE PAULISTA is an old cafe contributed in spreading Brazilian coffee all over Japan since it was opened in 1910. It was said that 4,000 cups of coffee were drunk by people at the time of founding. Einstein, John Lennon and famous Japanese novelists such as Ryunosuke Akutagawa and Ogai Mori visited this cafe, too!
