Everyday Japan’s gems selected by Pierre Hermé gathers! The concept shop with the cafe in Marunouchi
Marunouchi Naka-dori Street having loads of specialty stores and brand’s flagship shops from knick-knacks to clothes one. Unique window displays that you can’t find anywhere else catch your eyes again and again. This time, we’re going to introduce “Made in Pierre Hermé Marunouchi” where hidden gems of Japan carefully selected from the foreigner’s perspective are lined up.
As you know, Pierre Hermé is one of the world’s best pastry chefs and known as ‘The Picasso of Pastry.’ “Made in Pierre Hermé Marunouchi” is a concept shop filled with his passion for Japan. Colorful items that make your daily life a little special are displayed shelves along the wall, such as food he found by visiting all over Japan, groceries developed in a joint effort by producers and him and kitchen goods which are simple but easy to use. It’s also attractive that you can find his uncompromising approach to quality just as rice for Western-style meals and Japanese-style meals are separately sold.
Besides, the cafe is attached to this shop, so it might be a good idea to stop by here when you want to take a break. They offer not only light meals and desserts but also BENTO whose side dishes can be chosen by yourself (The above picture shows the most popular ‘RURU BENTO’).
