At these wineries, you can taste delicious wines, go on exciting tours to see how they are made, and even enjoy delicious food at their cozy restaurants. We are introducing a signature winery, CAVE D’OCCI. It represents the charm of the Niigata Wine Coast with fantastic restaurants and cafes.

Makigoya, operated by CAVE D’OCCI, has a unique German-style building with a big roof and red walls, designed by a German architect. It feels like you’re stepping into Germany with beautiful seasonal flowers all around! Inside Makigoya, you’ll find a craft beer brewery, a large wood-burning stove, and even a smokehouse. They make their very own ham and sausages, which are plump and juicy. Those dishes are particularly delicious with freshly brewed beer! This restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a casual and delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere.

Immerse yourself in the winemaking world with our daily winery tours, starting at 11:00 am. If you are unfamiliar with wine, these guided tours have detailed explanations, so you can join in.
