Sensoji Temple has a history of 1,400 years. It’s one of the most popular spots in Japan and is also known for the main gate of the temple called Kaminrimon (雷門). When you go through Kaminarimon, you will find Nakamise Street which is the entrance of Sensoji Temple. Enjoy eating Japanese food and finding souvenirs while walking around the traditional town. In addition, the cherry blossoms from Nakamise Street are so beautiful, so don’t forget to take pictures. When you reach the Hozomon (宝蔵門), the breathtaking weeping cherry tree welcomes you! The contrast between the bright vermilion temple and pink cherry blossoms is so photogenic. You can experience a traditional atmosphere with a special view. In addition to the five-story Pagoda in the precincts, there are many cherry blossoms in full bloom everywhere, so take a stroll and enjoy taking photos.

Furthermore, please check the collaboration with TOKYO SKYTREE and cherry blossoms from the precincts of Sensoji Temple. The best season would be from the end of March to early April every year. The season is crowded by many people when it’s in full bloom, but we recommend appreciating the amazing scenery. If you more feel Japanese atmosphere, how about wearing a Kimono? There are many rental shops in Asakusa, and Hotel Tavinos also offers a plan for how to dress in Kimono. Why not take a walk around Asakusa while enjoying the warmth and spring atmosphere?
