Enjoy Spring Nights with Tokyo Tower’s “Cherry Blossom Mapping” Show

Even after the peak cherry blossom season has passed, you can still enjoy the lingering beauty of spring. One recommended experience is the projection mapping show “TOKYO TOWER CITY LIGHT FANTASIA – Spring Concerto 2026 –” held at Tokyo Tower. Running from February 28 (Sat), 2026 to May 6 (Wed, substitute holiday), this special event allows visitors to experience a fantastical spring scene where full-bloom cherry blossoms blend beautifully with the sparkling night view of Tokyo.

The venue is Tokyo Tower’s Main Deck, located 150 meters above the ground. Images projected onto the large windows merge with the dazzling city lights spread out below, creating a magical space that feels like stepping into a story of spring. One of the charms of this event is that visitors can experience the beauty of Japan’s seasons while staying comfortably indoors.

The spring theme is “Spring Concerto.” The show begins with a scene in which the bright light of spring gradually shines into Tokyo after a long, dark winter. Animals and plants awaken from their winter rest, celebrating the arrival of spring as the forest becomes lively again. As the story unfolds, cherry blossoms begin to bloom above the city’s glittering nightscape. Eventually, the blossoms reach full bloom, transforming the entire observation deck into a dreamy world tinted in soft shades of pink.

This year also features the “SAKURA Candle Monument,” produced by candle artist CANDLE JUNE. Centered around a cherry blossom monument, warm candlelight blends gently with the projection mapping, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere that enhances the feeling of spring.

After the main show, visitors can also enjoy “Sakura Photo Time.” This special moment offers the perfect opportunity to capture photos of the cherry blossom–colored night view together with the visual effects, making it easy to preserve beautiful spring memories.

In addition, new laser lights and gobo lights have been introduced this year, further enhancing the immersive experience. Particles of light appear to float throughout the space, creating an even more magical atmosphere. With Tokyo’s night view, full-bloom cherry blossoms, and stunning light effects combined, this is a limited spring experience unique to Tokyo Tower. If you would like to enjoy cherry blossoms a little longer, why not spend a spring evening at Tokyo Tower?
