The shop is so popular that the review says, ‘There is a long line every day on holidays!’, and it seems that all bread is often sold out before the end of business hours. The shop is just a walk away from Yurakucho Station, so you can stop by easily while going out to Ginza and toward Tokyo Station.

Kunyane is a sweet bread, which fills the striped barrel pie dough with custard cream. Neither crispy nor crunchy, it seems to be one and only texture. As the shop says, ‘it’s like a glassy dough shatters in a moment’. It’s also a feature that you can enjoy the smell of well-aged fermented and butter flavor. The cream is attractive that uses fresh custard cream with dairy cream as well. You can enjoy freshly cooked because the cream squeezes out after ordering.

The shop has only 2 types of bread, simple ‘Kunyane’ and ‘Chocolate Kunyane’ which is used bitter chocolate to good balance with cream. If you buy 4 or more, a special box will be included. It might be a good idea to buy for a small gift as well as four yourself.
