The Hibiya Park Marunouchi Ondo Bon-odori Dance Festival Returns After 4 Years

Hibiya Park is close to Tokyo Station, near Imperial Palace and National Diet Building. It uses as the venue for various events due to its convenient access and favorable location. Such a spacious park, Hibiya Park Marunouchi Ondo Bon-odori Dance Festival will be held in August. It started as one of the 100th-anniversary events of Hibiya Park in 2003 and has become a popular event with more than 40,000 visitors every year.

The Bon Odori Festival has been canceled since 2020, however, it has been decided to be held in 2023. Marunouchi Ondo plays in Hibiya Park for the first time in 4 years. The festival is the largest Bon Odori held in central Tokyo, and in the circle of dancing that spreads from one to two layers, not only people wearing yukata but also people working in the surrounding area participate in business style. They enjoy the summer atmosphere in their own time. In addition, during the event, the lawn square is open to the public, so if you get tired of dancing, you can buy food, alcohol and sweets at the stalls and eat and drink leisurely. You can fully enjoy the Japanese summer festival style.
