Challenge Bouldering This Autumn in Japan’s Largest Indoor Gym, B-PUMP TOKYO Akihabara Welcomes Beginners Too!
Bouldering got attention for becoming the Tokyo Olympic sport in 2021. Many people might think that bouldering seems to be fun but it is hard to challenge. This time, we’re going to introduce B-PUMP TOKYO Akihabara, which boasts one of the largest areas in Japan. There is a trial course for the beginner, so have a try!
You can start quickly bouldering because it does not necessary any special equipment. Tokyo has many bouldering gyms but among them, B-PUMP TOKYO Akihabara boasts an area of about 2000㎡. Bouldering typically requires physical strength to climb walls that are approximately 3 to 5 meters high. Actually, it’s essential that we maintain our balance using the whole body, so women and kids who have weak muscle strength can also try it. Bouldering also provides a natural way to strengthen the core muscles while enjoying the activity.
There is a trial course for the beginner, so beginners are also welcome! The instructors teach you about the rules and how to climb in a friendly. You can bring only comfortable clothing and socks because shoes are available for rent. If you would like to challenge yourself seriously after the trial course, stop by the shop which is annexed to the gym. There is a wide range of goods for bouldering. The gym also holds events where all participants take on challenges set by the staff, and physical training classes to help you continue bouldering for a long time. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the nearest station, so it’s easily accessible.
