It was a challenge to get tickets when it first opened, but currently, there are more days available for reservations. It’s great for a little getaway on your vacation. You can see the behind-the-scenes of the Harry Potter movies and the Fantastic Beast movies in this innovative entertainment facility. There are replica sets from the movies, photo spots, and plenty of activities. You feel like you stepped into the movie. There are many Harry Potter themed places in the world, but there are sets, exhibits, and merch that you can only find here in Tokyo. It’s a must for all Harry Potter lovers. Even if you’re not the biggest fan, you’re sure to enjoy the world full of magic and fantasy. You need to buy tickets beforehand. Be aware that you cannot buy tickets at the window on the day of.

Warner Brothers Studio Tour Tokyo is a walkthrough-type facility. Enjoy a walk through the world of the movie. Really dive into the world with robes and wands and other accessories. You can buy merchandise here, so be sure to check it out. The facility is based after the set of Hogwarts. You feel like you’re one of the students at the school of magic. Take pictures of yourself getting sucked into Platform 9 ¾ at London’s Kings Cross Station. Or of yourself teleporting with some Floo powder at the Ministry of Magic. Reenact your favorite scenes from the movies.

The Backlot Cafe has menu items based on the characters. Enjoy Umbridge’s Afternoon Tea in a very pink space.

The facility has 4 different restaurants and cafes including the food hall. One of them is the Backlot Cafe which has items that pay homage to the characters. Umbridge’s Afternoon Tea based on Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter series is a popular item here. There is a special cafe space that only those who order the afternoon tea set can enter. It’s a very kitschy, pink space perfect for Umbridge herself. There are moving pictures of cats and other knick knacks just like the movie. They don’t accept reservations, and they only serve a limited amount of afternoon tea sets in a day. So, get there early if you want to try it. Relax with some delicious afternoon tea in a place that feels like you’re in the movie.
