From Sasebo Washington Hotel to Huis Ten Bosch, take the express bus (for Nagasaki Airport) from Sasebo Station which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. After 6 stops on the bus, get off at the Huis Ten Bosch bus stop and walk another 9 minutes.

The Summer Night Fireworks event is happening at Huis Ten Bosch. The fireworks can be seen from several locations within the park. If you want to sit down and enjoy the fireworks, there are special fireworks viewing tickets, so check those out. There are spots where you can eat a meal, see light up displays, listen to music, or watch a water show along with the fireworks. Each spot offers a unique view, so plan out where you want to watch the fireworks. See some breathtaking fireworks light up the skies above this European world in Japan.

The park filled with sunflowers! Enjoy sunflower fields and a European cityscape

Since Huis Ten Bosch is modeled after the Netherlands, you may envision tulip fields, but in summer, an expansive field of sunflowers appears. You get a magnificent view of sunflowers at the flower road, the Bastion (Attraction Town), the flower plaza (Amsterdam Plaza), and other spots in the park. Our recommendation is the Bastion which was modeled after the Andalusia region in Spain. The sunflowers waving in the large field is a sight to behold. Don’t forget your camera or phone to take pictures.

Be mesmerized by the floating lanterns! The Spectacle Lantern Night Show is a summer favorite

This show mixes glowing lanterns, projection mapping, exciting music, and light up displays. The first show was in 2023, and it was so popular that it was brought back this year. Shows will be held every day until November 4th. Countless lanterns and lights float up into the sky to create a magical, otherworldly sight. You’re sure to be moved by the finale. There are several places where you can watch the show. There are free spaces, tables where you can eat meals, and a gondola plan. Come have a unique time and make some memories.
