Kujukushima is made up of 208 islands. Here, you can find a resort area called Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort. In summer, you have to go on the cruise. Slowly cruise through the sparkling sea and look at the beautiful islands up close. The cobalt blue ocean and the deep green islands are like a painting come to life. At the aquarium, UMIKIRARA, see some jellyfish or watch a dolphin show. You can even touch some starfish or sea cucumbers, so it’s great for families and children. At Nagasaki Bio Park, you’re almost too close to the animals. Unlike regular zoos, there are no fences, so you can get real close to the capybaras, squirrel monkeys, and other animals. The animals roam freely, and you can watch them in their natural state. In summer, see the capybara cool off in the water or under the shade. Feeding the animals is not only fun for the kids but fun for the adults, too. It’s a special place to get closer to the animals than ever before. There are cafes and break areas, too, so you can spend all day here. Come visit and walk into this strange world of animals.
