Tower Daijingu was established in 1977 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Nippon Television Tower Co., the company that operates Tokyo Tower. Enshrining the sacred spirit transferred from Ise Grand Shrine, it honors Amaterasu Omikami and has long been cherished by worshippers. The shrine was renovated in 2019 and continues to watch over Tokyo from the observatory today.

After visiting the shrine, you can receive goshuin stamps and protective charms at the “OFFICIAL SHOP THE SKY” on the same floor. A wide variety is available, including a sunrise-themed goshuin, seasonal designs for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, as well as limited zodiac editions.
