Discover Yokohama Timber Wharf and Trendy Gourmet Spots in Minato Mirai
Opened in 2025 at Rinko Park in Yokohama, Yokohama Timber Wharf is one of Minato Mirai’s newest attractions. Located about a 14-minute walk from either Minato Mirai Station or Shin-Takashima Station, it offers a pleasant stroll with beautiful waterfront views along the way.
Surrounded by the lush greenery of Rinko Park, this relaxing destination combines the refreshing sea breeze with the warmth of natural wood. It has quickly become a favorite place for both locals and visitors looking to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
On the first floor, two popular shops from Fukuoka have made their Yokohama debut: the famous fresh doughnut specialty store I’m donut? and the bakery cafe dacō. At their largest location to date, visitors can enjoy exclusive menu items, savory doughnuts, and new creations such as the Napoli Series. With freshly made breads and doughnuts served against the backdrop of Yokohama’s harbor scenery, Yokohama Timber Wharf offers a truly delicious experience by the sea.
Yokohama Timber Wharf: A New Landmark Surrounded by Sea and Greenery

Yokohama Timber Wharf is a multi-purpose complex located within Rinko Park, the largest green space in the Minato Mirai 21 district. Overlooking Yokohama Port, it is an ideal spot to combine with a seaside walk or a relaxing afternoon in the park.
The name “Timber” reflects the building’s extensive use of wood throughout its design. Its impressive wooden structure blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape, creating a fresh new icon for the port city of Yokohama.
Inside, you’ll find cafes, restaurants, and facilities designed for runners and walkers, making it a welcoming community hub as well as a tourist destination.
The area is especially beautiful at sunset. Watching the sun set over the water with views of Yokohama Bay Bridge creates a memorable experience. Although it is close to the lively Minato Mirai area, Yokohama Timber Wharf offers a peaceful atmosphere where visitors can unwind during their sightseeing adventures.

Yokohama’s First I’m donut? Store

The hugely popular fresh doughnut specialty shop I’m donut? has opened its first Yokohama location at Yokohama Timber Wharf. Set amid the greenery of Rinko Park, it has already become one of the area’s most talked-about gourmet destinations.
Around 30 varieties of doughnuts line the display, including the signature I’m donut? Original. This Yokohama location also features exclusive menu items created especially for the waterfront setting.
New additions include Manhattan, inspired by Yokohama’s port-town atmosphere and based on a beloved old-fashioned doughnut from Fukuoka, and Dubai Chocolate, a chocolate doughnut filled with rich chocolate cream and topped with pistachio flakes. Seasonal treats such as the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Amann, filled with pumpkin cream cheese and baked until golden, are also available.
Freshly baked and freshly fried doughnuts are continuously brought out to the spacious display area, allowing guests to choose their favorites. Watching the treats being prepared and deciding what to try is part of the fun. Enjoying a warm doughnut straight from the kitchen is an experience not to be missed during your seaside stroll.

Enjoy a Seaside Break at Bakery Cafe dacō

Located next to I’m donut?, the popular bakery cafe dacō, originally from Fukuoka, has also opened its first Yokohama branch. The shop offers around 50 different items, including more than 10 new creations.
One highlight is the new Nama Napoli Doughnut, an evolution of the popular Napoli Series first introduced at the Kagurazaka store. The soft doughnut dough is baked at high temperatures in a pizza oven and coated with raw sugar, creating a delightful balance of light texture and rich flavor. The Nama Napoli Doughnut Custard, generously filled with homemade custard cream, is another must-try.
For something savory, the Napoli Sandwiches, filled with ingredients such as prosciutto, Camembert cheese, and basil, offer a taste of Italy and make a perfect lunch option.
The cafe also introduces a new seasonal flavor from its unique drinkable shaved ice series, Potache. The Roasted Pumpkin Marron & Earl Grey Caramel combines pumpkin, chestnut, cream cheese, Earl Grey tea, and caramel into a comforting autumn-inspired treat.
Relax in the spacious cafe while enjoying freshly baked breads and doughnuts, with views of the sea and greenery through the windows. It’s a special experience that can only be found at Yokohama Timber Wharf.
