Looking like a hideaway along Kokusai-dori street, “SHEHOA NO SATO NAHA SHOP (雪花の郷 那覇店)” is a Taiwanese restaurant offering tofu pudding, sesame dumpling and something like that. The most popular menu is one of the Taiwanese desserts, ‘SHEHOAPIN’ with a texture that you’ve never experienced before. It’s neither ice cream nor shaved ice and made by shaving ice containing coconut milk with a special shaved ice machine. A plate is covered with snow-like ice, and much syrup is put on it. You’re sure to be surprised at the touch when scooping it with a spoon and the ultimate fluffy texture like powder snow when put it into your mouth. The syrup with the rich flavor of fruits and the sweetness of ice will be mixed on your tongue. The taste is so delicious that Taiwanese people often visit here to eat it. They offer 15 types of flavor with interesting names such as ‘Passionate Fruit (情熱果実)’ and ’Gold and Silver Treasure (金銀財宝).

Pudding reminding us of Okinawa’s blue sea is popular among tourists. -”Okinawa Pudding Heiwa-dori Main Shop” creating innovative puddings with carefully selected agricultural products from Okinawa
Reference from -フィール-OKINAWA “美ら海を閉じ込めたプリンを「琉球プディング」の一味違った沖縄土産“
Opened in 2016, “Ryukyu Pudding (琉球プディング)” is a pudding specialty shop. There are lots of puddings with flavors unique to Okinawa which we can’t find anywhere else, such as raw sugar, purple yam and mango. Even kids can eat them without worrying because they don’t almost use preservatives and colorings. Besides, the main ingredients are agricultural products carefully selected. Milk, eggs and granulated sugar are from Okinawa. They cook them with their original method and create a rich flavor and smooth texture. The hottest topic in social media is “Chura Pudding (美らプリン).” Using Okinawa’s clear blue sea as a motif, this pudding has 2 layer: salt custard pudding made from Miyako Island’s Yukishio (snow salt) and blue jelly using Kume Island’s deep ocean water rich in mineral. Jelly with the refreshing flavor matches creamy and a little salty custard pudding. Don’t forget to look for adorable star-shaped nata de coco like starfish while eating pudding!
