Feel like being lost in a fairytale at “Enokitei”, a café in the classical 1927-built Western-style building as is

“Enokitei” (えの木てい) is a café offering homemade cakes, original tea, and snacks such as hamburgers and sandwiches. Its signature is a Spanish-style building with a beautiful contrast between the red tile roof and the white walls. The building built in 1927, was the residence of a US prosecutor in the first place. It was then owned by the parents of the current owner in the late 1960s for opening as a café. The interior which retains the remnants of the early 1900s, such as wooden windows and fireplaces, creates a calm and elegant space. As you make you step into it, you’ll feel like a part in a fairytale for sure. Also, especially in the coming season, the terrace seats where plenty of sunlight shines down are highly recommended. Its popular choice of menu is ‘Cream Tea’ (「クリームティー」), a set menu you can enjoy discerning scones together with black tea. For your information, the park in front of the café is Motomachi Park (元町公園), in which many historically valuable buildings are preserved.

“Teafanny” is in the complex “THE BEACH YOKOHAMA” with a wedding venue and a photo studio. An impressive white exterior like a tropical resort, large foliage plants, artistic paintings and unique chairs with velor and fur make every corner looks like a scene in stylish magazines. There is also a beach area with white sands and a sea-like pool in the courtyard where leaves on palm trees gracefully sway in the wind. Your heart will skip a beat at the photogenic space where every look is so worth Insta photos no matter where you look around. The natural and health-conscious menu is basically a set of your choice of whole grain crepes served with a knife and fork and your choice of the cafe’s original blended tea with plenty of fruits.
