Currently, about 500 kinds of flowers and trees are planted, you can enjoy the different views of each season. In addition, the garden is also famous for being held traditional events since the Edo Period(1603-1868), including Mushikiki No Kai (虫聞きの会, Sounds of insects), Tsukimi No Kai (月見の会, Moon viewing ), and Hagi Matsuri (萩祭り, Hagi Festival).
