A Romantic Date Spot in Tokyo Bay Area – Illuminations at “TOKYO PORTCITY TAKESHIBA” until The End of February

“TOKYO PORTCITY TAKESHIBA”(東京ポートシティ竹芝) was born in 2020 in the Tokyo Bay area. It has been getting attention as a ‘state-of-the-art complex’, where robots play an active role such as cleaning, security and product display. In such the facility, illuminations are being held until 28th February 2022.

TOKYO PORTCITY TAKESHIBA is consisting of a 40-story office tower and an 18-story residence tower with restaurants and shops. While in the city center, the space surrounded by greenery and nature is popular with business people and tourists.

Here you can see the beautifully shining illuminations from 11th November 2021 to 28th February 2022. Especially, the must-see spots are the ‘tree-line road(並木道)’ and the outdoor terrace ‘Skip Terrace(スキップテラス)’. The trees along the road lit up in gold color along a tree-lined road, giving a gorgeous impression. In the Skip Terrace, the light of the trees is illuminated the water surface, which looks like a terraced rice field, creating a beautiful view. You can enjoy the scenery that can only be seen at this time with the illumination lights.

TOKYO PORTCITY TAKESHIBA has about 20 restaurants, so it’s recommended to visit for gourmet. There are various restaurants such as salad bowl specialty shop, Cafe ‘Blue Bottle Coffe’ and Italian restaurant.
