The new complex facility to visit in the area surrounding Tokyo Bay! -“WATERS takeshiba” filled with shops arousing adults’ interests

In the areas around Hamamatsucho Station and Takeshiba Station, the nearest stations of Hotel Tavinos Hamamatsucho, the large scale urban-renewal project is in progress, such as rebuilding World Trade Center Building and constructing new buildings. This time, we’re going to introduce a large complex facility “WATERS takeshiba” that was built as a part of the project and opened on 17th July 2020.

Having the vision of ‘The city creating the next richness,’ “WATERS takeshiba’ consists of offices, shops and theatres, etc. There are two buildings: Tower Building and Theatre Building.

Tower Building is a 26-story building with different designs depending on the viewing angle. It faces Hamarikyu Gardens, scenery rich in nature with openness spreads out. On the 1st to 4th floor, there is a commercial facility ‘atre Takeshiba’ (scheduled to open on 7th August) which is located in both Tower Building and Theatre Building. You can find an organic supermarket that originated in Paris and cafes with a cozy atmosphere, luxury restaurants producing an elegant time and so on.

On the other hand, Theatre Building has ‘atre Takeshiba’ from the 1st to 3rd floor and ‘Shiki Theatre HARU and AKI’ from the 2nd to 6th floor. In this atre, mainly entertainment facilities gather. For example, ‘Forest of dialogue museum talks’ allowing visitors to experience talks across language and the cultural barrier in the world without sound, ‘BANK30′ where you can enjoy video works, music and shows while viewing Tokyo Bay, and more. You can experience the sensation which you’ve never done by elements stimulating adults’ interests.

In addition, you’re sure to be satisfied with spots made by fully using the location. At the lawn plaza and terrace that spread between Tower Building and Theatre building, you can have a relaxing time while feeding the refreshing breeze coming from the Shiodome River. Moreover, at the tidal flat on its grounds, it’s planned that opportunities to touch water and creatures will be provided. It might also be a good idea to stop by WATERS takeshiba while cruising the surrounding areas because the landing place of water buses, connecting Asaksua, Odaiba and Toyosu, is home here.
