This place will be covered with 136 varieties of 7,100 roses, and the rich fragrance of roses will surround you. In particular, Japan’s longest rose row of 400m long is must-see! When it gets dark, roses lit up by gentle light of candles creates a romantic atmosphere.
2 traditional festivals held in May
Hiroshima will hold 2 festivals from 25th May, 2019 to 26th May, 2019. It is a valuable opportunity to enjoy different types of festivals at once!At first, we’re going to introduce “Mantou Mitama Festival” held at ‘Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine’ where Hiroshima’s professional baseball team, Hiroshima Toyo Carp visit here and pray for their victory every year. About 100 unmarried women in costumes of Miko-san will perform ‘Miko Dance’ with ringing bells in the precinct illuminated by 2,000 paper lanterns. You must be completely glued to the sight.The other festival is “Mt. Takamatsu Daimonji Festival.” It’s a traditional fire ritual with a history of over 200 years. When it gets 7:00 PM, a 45m vertical and 80m horizontal capital letter appears on the surface of Mt. Takamatsu. Why not witness the fantastic quaint view?
