“THE COFFEE Kisarazu”, an intimate specialty coffee shop with a cafe space opened in 2020 with the concept of ‘specialty coffee x people x space’, offers specialty coffee brewed from home-roasted beans. You can order from various beans and ways how to enjoy your cup of coffee, such as ‘Cross Rose Series’ (クロスローズシリーズ), the rum flavoring coffee beans that is prepared by soaking in liquor. Enjoy a flavor you’ve never experienced. There are two ways in serving coffee: ‘coffee’ that directly gives you the charm of beans, and ‘cafe latte’ that leaves a different impression by adding milk. For those who are not good at coffee, dessert menu is also available including ‘Coffee x Milk Soft’ (コーヒー×ミルクソフト) creating a modest sweetness that is just right.

Like all the other Showa styled coffee houses, there are more than 70 kinds of affortable meal menus including hearty Napolitan (ナポリタン, a Japanized spaghettis, stir-fried with tomato ketchup) that is only 680 yen. Among its signature soft drink items that are ‘Melon Soda’ (メロンソーダ), ‘Blue Hawaii’ (ブルーハワイ) and ‘Orange Soda’ (オレンジソーダ), ‘Blue Hawaii Soda’ is the one you should try as it is so photogenic with a clear sea-like blue color. At “Mokuyosya Hon-ten” (木旺舎 本店) with a wooden white exterior walls, an authentic cafe opened in 1976, you can also enjoy shopping knick-knack, baked goods and dried fruits in the space with antique interiors. When it comes to the cafe area, among its moist and fresh crepes that are the popular ones, the signature item is ‘Salt Caramel Crepe’ (塩キャラメルのクレープ) prepared with a sweet caramel sauce made from rock salt and plenty of nuts topped. Going into the restaurant through the stairs in the atrium, and you will find seats in a luxurious hall. A wide variety of desserts to drinks are offered. The ‘Afternoon Tea Set’ (アフタヌーンティーセット), the specialty menu of the restaurant, is a luxurious set with 5 kinds of light bites and desserts, fruits, and coffee or tea.
