Tokyo Tower is a self-supporting, steel lattice tower. Even after finishing its role as a broadcasting tower in September 2018, the two-tone color of red and white, which stands out against the blue sky, has an overwhelming presence. In addition, it’s lit up at night, and the tower shines even more. Tokyo Tower has continued to fascinate us for over 60 years.

Another attraction of Tokyo Tower is the view from an observatory. You can view Tokyo’s cityscape changing with time from the 150 main deck. Furthermore, please don’t miss the Skywalk Window. It’s an area with a glass floor so you can peer down while experiencing thrilling. There is another observatory, a 250m top deck, which is 100m higher than the main deck. Originally the deck is used as a workbench for antenna maintenance, it was opened to the public as an observatory in 1967. Currently, the entry is available by reservation only. The Tokyo Tower Observation deck offers not only views of the cityscape of Tokyo but also panoramic views of Mount Fuji, Mount Tsukuba, the Boso Peninsula, and the Miura Peninsula. Why not enjoy the ever-changing cityscape of Tokyo and the scenic views of the Kanto Plain?
