Kyoto Aquarium allows you to meet various creatures of the sea even in the center of Kyoto. Within the facility, there are corners that reproduce the scenery of the sea near Kyoto, the river that flows through Kyoto, and the scenery of Kyoto’s satoyama ( 里山, woodland close to the village), so visitors can not only interact with creatures but also experience a lot of fun things. Additionally, during Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays until the end of November, the business hours have been extended until 8:00 PM.
