The roses at Shiba Park reach their peak in May. Get a picture of Tokyo Tower and roses together.
Shiba Park, right by Tokyo Tower, is an oasis that is famous for its roses! From the start to end of May, you can see Tokyo Tower through the rose arch at the park entrance. Clear blue skies, vibrant roses, and the symbolic Tokyo Tower. It’s a special collaboration you can only see during this season.
Shiba Park is split into three parts: Minato City Shiba Park, Shiba Park, and Prince Shiba Park. You can only see the rose arch at Minato City Shiba Park! This park was opened to the public in 1873 and is one of the oldest parks in Japan. They incorporated the local resident’s ideas for trees and solar powered light fixtures, and it has become a haven full of history and culture for many.
The park has a 5,100-square-meter park, a garden full of seasonal flowers cared for by local volunteers, and so many other wonderful facilities! Roses are only in bloom in May, but you can have a picnic, take a walk, or enjoy the park in various ways throughout the year. Why not stop by during your stay in Tokyo?
