【WATERS takeshiba】Spend some time by the water at this playground for adults
WATERS takeshiba is a 3-minute walk from Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome Line and a 6-minute walk from JR/Monorail Hamamatsu Station’s north exit. This waterfront collection of facilities is the closest of its kind to the Yamanote Line. Commercial buildings, offices, theaters, ports, and mudflats reside in this playground for adults. It’ll help you get away from the daily noise of the city.
The waterside is beautiful, but the lush Hamarikyu Gardens also make this a popular spot for tourists and locals. The closest stations are Hamamatsucho and Takeshiba, so it’s easy to get to Tokyo Station, Shinagawa Station, and Haneda Airport from here. Because of that, you often see working people taking their breaks here, too. There are water buses that go from the port to Asakusa, Ryogoku, Odaiba, and Kasai, so we also recommend stopping by on your journey through Tokyo.
