Summer in Japan is all about fireworks, festivals, and exciting nighttime events. Today, we’ll show you two popular events in Osaka, Japan. They are held at beaches close to Kansai Airport Washington Hotel, so they’re great for people who want to avoid crowds and crowded trains. A scene straight out of a movie – The Senshu Beach Lantern Festival

Dates: July 6th – 7th, 2024

This beach lantern event is held at Sennan Long Park. At night, participants let go of thousands of lanterns that fly into the air to create a magical sight. The lanterns light up the night sky and the ocean waves. It’s very romantic. You can take pictures that look like you’re in Disney’s Tangled. Enjoy quality time with friends and family, or spend a romantic evening with your partner. It’s quite lively and crowded at night, but it’s a quick car ride from Kansai Airport Washington Hotel and easily walkable, too. It’s easy to go during your stay here. Flowers bloom against the night skies of Senshu during the biggest firework festival in Osaka – The Senshu Dream Fireworks

This event, Senshu Dream Fireworks, also occurs at Sennan Long Park in Osaka. Thousands of fireworks are shot at this festival with special performances, music, and other programs. There will be awe-inspiring, large fireworks and a storyline that makes you feel like you’re watching a movie. Enjoy a romantic summer evening. Sennan Long Park is a quick and easy trip from the hotel. After watching the fireworks, you can relax in your room. The Senshu Dream Fireworks are only able to be watched from a paid area, so be sure to check the ticket information.

Feels like an exotic resort – Sennan Long Park

The Kansai International Airport can be seen across the water from Sennan Long Park. The paths are well-maintained and it’s nice for a walk. Palm trees are planted along the paths, so it feels like you’re in Hawaii or some other resort area. There are objects scattered around, so try taking some nice pictures, too. Also, Rinku Marble Beach, connected to Sennan Long Park, was chosen as one of the top 100 sunset spots in Japan. Watch the color of the sky shift with every passing second. Both of the events above, Senshu Beach Lantern Festival and Senshu Dream Fireworks, are held at Sennan Long Park.
