Restaurant “Pasta” loved by lots of Takaragenne
We recommend that you have lunch at “Pasta” while traveling. It’s a 5-min walk from the hotel. Lots of Takaragenne (Takara Revue performers) frequently visit this long-established restaurants with about 40 years of history. Among their 50 types of spaghetti, ‘Tarakoika Natto Spaghetti’ is by far the best dish. Its ingredients such as natto, squid and cod roe are seasoned with butter and salt kelp. Apparently, it was started to be offered in response to performers’ requests.

If you want to savory traditional Japanese sweets of Takarazuka, please stop by at “Sugaya” near Nakayamadera station. It has a history of over 50 years. Handmade Japanese sweets using only carefully selected ingredients line the shelves of this shop. They also sell seasonally limited Japanese sweets using seasonal fruits including strawberry and mandarin orange, so you can enjoy the changing of the seasons with your taste sensation. “Kobe Luminarie” whose illuminations express Kobe’s history and wish
Traveling around Hyogo in December, you should visit “Kobe Luminarie” held from 6th December to 16th. It’s a festival of light which serves as an ongoing remembrance to the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995. There are awesome illuminations colored with various light bulbs such as a large 21 meter high dome at Higashi Yuenchi Park and 22 meters tall gates at Former Foreign Settlement. Why not be intoxicated with light arts that give you an impression and an ease of mind peace while exploring the world of light?
