“Yokohama Station East Exit Illuminations Star-filled Terrace” is held every winter from 2017. Its venue is the outdoor deck ‘Hama Terrace’ on the 2nd floor of Sky Building (Marui City Yokohama), so you can be easy to stop by here before or after shopping and dining. When you step into the terrace, an extraordinary world spreads out. Illuminations adds shining colors based on blue and champagne gold to trees and sky, and you’re sure to feel as if you’re surrounded by a sky filled with stars. You can also see projected shooting stars flowing. Besides, when it’s sunny, a moon sculpture appears and change this place into outer space. In addition, the illumination tree with a height of about 40 meters is projected on the wall of Sky Building.

“The Landmark Christmas 2020”: Snow of light falls on the Christmas tree with a height of 8 meters and deliver Christmas mood to your family and friends living away

A shopping complex ‘Yokohama Landmark Plaza’ adjacent to Yokohama Landmark Tower, one of Yokohama’s symbols, is holding an illumination event “The Landmark Christmas 2020.” There is Christmas tree decorated with ornaments under the theme of ‘Many Wishes, Many Thanks.’ at SAKATA SEED GARDEN SQUARE on the 1st floor. To our surprise, it has a height of about 8 meters and expresses ‘Starry Forest.’ When it gets 4:00PM, hear-warming light such as white and pale pink illuminates the tree. In addition, from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, lighting shows are performed every hour. Light’s colors change into vivid blue, pink and so on, and the presence of the tree becomes stronger. “Yorunoyo－YOKOHAMA CROSS NIGHT ILLUMINATION－”: Illuminations whose venue is the whole town of Minato Mirai 21 collaborates with Yokohama’s night view

“Yorunoyo－YOKOHAMA CROSS NIGHT ILLUMINATION－” is being held under a concept of ‘CROSS of people, things and cultures.’ All over Minato Mirai 21 is its venue, so the scale can be said to be the largest in Yokohama. ‘CROSS DOME’ set at the main venue, Shinko Central Square, is a hot topic on Instagram. The geometrically patterned LED lights create three light domes, and the inside is a space where visitors can enjoy the production of light and sound. Around these domes, there are also lots of illuminations whose colors and brightness of light change in response to the movement of people. Anyway, your heart must be touched just by seeing a lighting show ‘NIGHT VIEWING.’ Shinko Central Square and 20 surrounding facilities are illuminated with various colors of light.
