Here is a place where Japanese culture ‘Kabuki’ is performed, so this garden is made with stones and plants to become Japanese-style. Since you feel nature while being surrounded by buildings, you must think the garden is like an urban oasis with a very Japanese atmosphere.

In such the Garden, there are some monuments related to Kabuki such as ‘Senjin Monument(先人の碑)’, ‘Mokuami stone lantern and tsukubai(黙阿弥の石灯籠と・蹲踞)’ and so on. In addition, there is also a full glazed Japanese tea cafe ‘Jugetsudo(寿月堂).’ It’s might be a good idea to stop by this cafe in the middle of strolling around Ginza and taste Japanese tea and sweets with enjoying the beautiful garden.

By the way, it’s recommended to use the ‘Goemon stairs(五右衛門階段)’ that connects the 4th floor to the 5th floor to go to the rooftop garden. You get to see the Kabukiza’s large roof up close from the stairs that have an impressive contrast between red and white. There is only one tile of inverted phoenix.
