Located on the 5th floor, “Original Pancake House” was founded in 1953 in Portland, Oregon. Today, it has more than 100 shops in America. Japan’s shops truly recreate pancakes that the founder produced. It seems that they make dough based on their special recipe every day. The dough, which uses traditional natural yeast and is fermented for 3 days in a strict temperature-controlled room, has a super fluffy texture. The most popular menu is ‘Dutch Baby’ whose German dough using plenty of eggs is baked in an oven. When bringing Dutch Baby to your table, staff sprinkle whipped butter, lemon and powder sugar on it. The outside is crispy and savory, and the inside has a chewy texture like a thick crepe. The gentle salty flavor of rich whipped butter, the mellow sweetness of powder sugar and the refreshing acidity of lemon are blended and explode in your mouth.

Choose tea leaves and temperature of Bubble Tea -Tea stand from Taiwan “THE ALLEY” whose new products reproducing the scenery of nature in a bottle is hot topic

Reference from Cafe Release “【新店】THE ALLEY が有明ガーデンにオープン!お茶に恋をする本格派ティースタンド

“THE ALLEY” on the same 2nd floor is a tea stand from Taiwan. It ever-popular menu is ‘Bubble Tea’ whose tea leaves we can choose from 5 kinds: Assam Black Tea, Royal No.9 Black Tea, Tieguanyin Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, Peach Oolong Tea. It contains plenty of original tapioca balls stewed with Okinawan brown sugar syrup. Moreover, there are three levels of temperature, cold, hot, mild hot and hot, so it might be a good idea to try hot one during the cold season. In addition, don’t forget to drink ‘Aurora drink series’ which is gathering attention on Instagram! The menu was born from the desire of the managing director of THE ALLEY to share this beauty, impressed by the aurora borealis seen in Canada. Which one do you want to try, Northern Lights or Morning Sunshine? To the bright blue of butterfly pea, the former adds reddish-purple with grapes and apples, and the latter does yellow with mango. The gradations created by them are just as beautiful as the natural scenery.
