The specialty of Yebisu Garden Place in the winter holiday season is the enormous “Baccarat chandelier” installed in the center square, with the theme of ‘Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS -Yorokobi-no katachi-‘ (歓びのかたち, the shape of joy) for the 22nd time in this year. This 5-meter-high and 3-meter-wide chandelier designed with 8,500 crystal pieces lit by 250 lights, one of the biggest among the works of a French crystal brand Baccarat, can be appreciated only when this event is being held. Every 30 minutes from 5:00PM, a lighting show ‘kibou’ (希望, hope) with the image of Baccarat crystals, shooting stars, and golden Christmas unfolds.
