The Annual Event Marunouchi Illumination – Witness Tokyo’s Largest Tree at “TOKYO TORCH Park”
“Marunouchi Illumination” is celebrating its 20th anniversary of the annual events this year. The main street that stretches for about 1.2km is colored with about 1.2 million LEDs of champagne-gold. In addition, this year, the large-scale outdoor plaza ‘TOKYO TORCH Park’ is also lit up, which opened its grand opening in July this year. you can enjoy a wide range of illuminations.
Marunouchi Illumination, more than 340 roadside trees in the Marunouchi Area colored LED lights in champagne-gold color. The beautiful color that continues to the end of the road creates a fantastic space.
Furthermore, in the approximately 7,000㎡ large-scale outdoor plaza “TOKYO TORCH Park” in front of the Tokiwabashi Tower, which became a new landmark in front of the Nihonbashi exit of Tokyo Station, lit up the 30m tall tree-shaped illumination ‘Tree of Owl Post’, which expressed the worldview of Harry Potter. BGM of the movie Harry Potter is playing around there, you feel as if you really stepped into the magic world.
